The player who crosses has 3 options. The first is to
send the ball in front of the goal, the second is to send it close to the
penalty mark or outside the penalty area. 4 attackers are needed to have the
highest probability of scoring. One (1) of these players must approach the goal
while he is near the penalty mark. The player (2) closest to the goal must move
away from the goal and head for the penalty spot. If these two players do not
move and stay in their area, the defenders will have the defensive advantage.
When they change places, it becomes harder to follow these players.
Another player (3) must run away from everyone else
and run to the other area of the box, even if he is in or outside the penalty
area. Because if the player who crosses hits the ball fast, no one can touch
the ball. Thus, the backmost player has a chance to control the ball. Finally,
a player from the midfield must run to outside the penalty area. Sometimes all
of the defenders run into the box and the front of the box becomes defenceless,
or the ball bounces from players who are in the penalty area. In such cases,
the player who is outside the penalty area (4) has the possibility to score a
goal.
