-PSG carried ball forward from the wings, they made their attacking starts from wings most of the time. However, they had difficulty to enter the penalty area. Because wingers and fullbacks tried to enter the box alone by dribbling (1). Hakimi was more effective in the first position when they passed each other to be in penalty area (2).

-Lille set up the team further back. Yilmaz and David waited in front of the defenders and tried to run behind the defenders (1). It was a negative choice for PSG that Danilo came between centre-backs and played with 3 players in the centre of defence. Because running path of forwards and wingers has widened (2).

-Mandava played closer to the midfield. Although Djalo plays at right back, he is actually a centre-back. That's why he didn't go to right wing too much. Standing behind, he formed a triple line of defence with Fonte and Botman (1). When Mandava came back from the attack, they continued to play with 4 players in defence (2).

-Lille preferred 4-4-2 formation. One of the cons of this formation is that there is no player to defend front of the penalty area (1). Most of the time, however, Xeka was positioned behind, preventing opposing players from entering the penalty area from the centre. In addition, Bamba and Araujo approached the centre, ensuring that the distance between the midfielders and the forwards did not widen (2).

-At the end of the first half, we watched a very accurate counter attack. At the start of the counter attack, PSG's left wing was defenceless (1). Instead of going immediately to this area, Lille went to the stronger defence area. That's why the left wing was defenceless until the end of the attack. Lille slowly moved towards the other wing (2). It was a very good counter attack except for the shot.

-In the second half, Herrera and Ebimbe played closer to the penalty area. They became station players in transitions from wing to centre (1). If the attack would continue from the wing, they sent the ball to their teammates who went to corners of the field, allowing them to cross more easily (2).

-Centre-backs followed Icardi very closely. He could not be effective in attack. There are 2 reasons for this. Except for the first few positions, there was no second name coming next to Icardi and trying to disturb the centre-backs (1). That's why centre-backs' marking on Icardi never ended. Second, Icardi almost never left the penalty area to get rid of this marking and join the attack so he was passive and didn't move much (2).

-PSG's most effective positions were when they were waiting with 2-3 players in the centre of the penalty area while crossing. Defenders narrowed the field to control this area and were unable to defend sides of the penalty area (1). When a crossing from the right wing, they were able to be effective when the ball came to the player who waits on the left side. However, they could not score because the shots were bad (2).
